Inc. (CDI) founded in 1991, is a Brooklyn based, minority
owned, "one stop" multi-service construction firm.
The company has been a leading force in New York's construction
industry for ten years, with a reputation for providing clients
with the highest quality service.
As a "one stop", CDI specializes in General Construction
and Construction Management, with in-house specialties such
as roofing, masonry, curtain wall and glass. Some of the projects
that CDI has successfully completed include new construction,
major renovations and/or complex alterations of hospitals,
schools, residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Key Personnel:
Each staff member of CDI, from the executive level down,
is part of a coordinated system. The result is a well-earned
reputation for integrity and performance within the New York
construction industry. An introduction to the key personnel
at CDI is as follows:
Rudy Richardson, owner of Chards Diversified International
Inc., has been in construction for over thirty years
and founded CDI ten years ago. He is the President of the
New York State Chapter of the Association of Minority Contractors
(NYSAMC). He also sits on the board of the Community Environmental
Corps among other prestigious national boards. Mr. Richardson
graduated from R.C.A. Institute of Technology with a degree
in Electronics.
Evans Gardner, Vice President, has worked
with CDI since the company's inception. He is a qualified
accountant and financial analyst. Mr. Gardner holds a degree
from Baruch College.
Jaceey Sebastian, V.P. of Operations has
eight years experience in construction management. He has
been with CDI for three years. Mr. Sebastian is a qualified
Data Analyst with a degree from Baruch College.
Charles Carter, Senior Field Manager, has
worked with Rudy Richardson for more than twenty years. His
expansive knowledge in the field of construction has earned
him a senior position in the company. Mr. Carter completed
a (NYSAMC) Construction Management course at the Jamaica Business
Resource Center.
Steve Cooper, Field Manager, has been with
CDI for nine years. Mr. Cooper's expertise is in various in-house
skills such as masonry, carpentry and roofing. He has a vast,
work related knowledge of the construction industry.
Maria Jones, Project Manager, knowledge
and skills in information technology and new media are an
asset to the company. She has a vast experience in design
and construction for the last six years. Ms. Jones completed
a building contruction and construction management course
at New York University.
Audrey Evans, Administrative Director, has
been with CDI for more than six years. Ms. Evans knowledge
and skills in information technology and new media are an
asset to the company.
